Terms of Service
These terms apply to every website design, redesign and related service provided by STRIVANE , "we", "us") to you, the client. By paying a deposit or signing a proposal, you agree to them.
1. Services and proposals. Each project is defined in a written proposal or quote that lists the scope, deliverables, timeline and price. Work outside that scope is quoted separately before we start it.
2. Payment. Projects start once the deposit of [50]% is paid. The remaining balance is due [at launch / at agreed milestones]. Invoices are payable within [7] days. We may pause work on overdue accounts.
3. Your responsibilities. You provide the content, logins, brand files and feedback the project needs, on time. Delays in providing them may move the delivery date.
4. Revisions. Each proposal includes [2] rounds of revisions per design stage. Extra rounds or new requests are billed in advance.
5. Approval. Once you approve a design or stage in writing (email counts), later changes to it count as new work.
6. Ownership. When the project is paid in full, you own the final website design, content you supplied, and the custom code we wrote for you. Third-party items (themes, plugins, fonts, stock media, platforms like Shopify) stay under their own licences. Until full payment, all work remains ours.
7. Portfolio. We may show the finished project in our portfolio and marketing unless you ask us not to in writing.
8. Third-party services. Hosting, domains, apps and payment providers are run by other companies. We are not responsible for their outages, price changes or policies.
9. Warranty. We fix bugs caused by our work, free of charge, for [30] days after launch. This does not cover changes made by you or others, or updates to third-party platforms.
10. Liability. Our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses.
11. Ending a project. Either side may end a project with written notice. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy for what is owed.
12. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of [state / country].
13. Changes. We may update these terms. The version in place when you signed your proposal applies to your project.
